How the money flows
The jurisdiction mandates filing, the contractor files each report, and the per-system fee is passed through to the building owner on the invoice. It stacks on the inspection ticket itself ($250 to $5,000, verified contractor price list; see inspection cost). For shops without an integrated-partner tool, every filed report is also a second round of data entry into TCE's portal.
